Our Passionate Journey
Welcome to Sage's Doxies, where our passion for Miniature Dachshunds runs deep. Our journey began with the heartbreaking loss of our first dachshund, a beloved companion who brought so much joy and warmth into our lives. After their passing, we knew we couldn’t live without these wonderful little dogs, and our home felt empty without the pitter-patter of tiny paws. This led us to start Sage's Doxies, with the goal of sharing the love and happiness that dachshunds bring with others.
We are a small, family-run breeder located in the heart of Central Texas, just 12 miles outside of Comanche. At Sage's Doxies, we are committed to raising the highest quality AKC-registered Miniature Dachshunds with smooth coats and sweet, loving personalities. Our dogs are not just pets; they are family. We raise our puppies in our home, ensuring they are well-socialized from birth and given the best possible start in life. From day one, each puppy is handled with care and love, preparing them to become affectionate and well-adjusted companions in their new homes.
Breeding Excellence
Our breeding program is dedicated to producing dachshunds with excellent health, strong temperaments, and stunning appearances. We offer a stunning variety of colors including red, cream, chocolate, isabella, blue, and black. We specialize in both dapples and piebalds, with occasional brindles. However, we are firmly against producing double dapples, prioritizing the health and well-being of our dogs above all else.
